Me So Holy Now Available On Cydia!!

After all of the press our Me So Holy app received after being rejected, we resubmitted the app in hopes of approval. On May 23rd we received this email:
Your application, Me So Holy 1.0, is requiring unexpected additional time for review.   We apologize for the delay, and will update you with further status as soon as we are able.
Three days later we received a call from Apple regarding the app. He was very nice and informative but unfortunately told us that Apple would never allow Me So Holy into the app store, and that no parental controls or modifications to the app itself could save the app from permanent rejection.
So Me So Holy is now available in the Cydia store for free. Be sure and pick it up! Thanks.

Fun-ruiner »

This guy says on Now Public-

“Apple has rejected yet another app, this time negging Me So Holy, an application which would allow the user to place his or her face on the body of a religious figure. So you can’t be Jesus on the Jesus Phone. You also cannot be Ganesh, Zoroaster, or any other deity on the Jesus Phone. Thanks, Apple, for ruining our bordering-on-sacrilegious fun.”

Time for a jailbreak? »

Mediapost writes,

“The digital rights group Electronic Frontier Foundation is urging authorities to grant a DMCA exemption for jailbreaking, or tinkering with iPhones (and other devices) so their owners can run unapproved applications.

Apple adamantly opposes the EFF on this issue, but the company’s seemingly random and arbitrary bans on iPhone apps illustrate all too clearly why jailbreaking should be allowed.”
